FACTIOSTONE:
Recommendations for use, maintenance, cleaning
& sealing:

Limited acknowledges the responsibility of specifying
the correct cleaning and maintenance programme
to ensure that newly installed floors retain their
appearance and are cared for correctly to have
an extended life.
Products in the FactioStone range
require no special maintenance or care. A period
of seven days should normally be allowed after
application of the finish before any heavy wet
cleaning is carried out.
During this curing period, which
will be dependent on ambient conditions and temperatures,
floors should be vacuumed or lightly swept with
a soft broom.
Daily or Weekly Maintenance:

Remove all debris and dust using a standard
vacuum cleaner with the brushes on the head
extended to remove dry and loose dirt. |

If cleaning mud, first allow it to dry,
and remove with a brush. Take care not to
abrade the sheen. Clean spot stains, scuff
marks and liquid spills (juice, wine, etc)
with neutral detergent, warm water and a brush.

Rinse twice and soak up any residue with
a mop, sponge or towel. If not removed properly,
it can act like a magnet and attract dirt
and grime. |

Cleaners that contain bleach should
not be used as these may dull the surface
|

Harsh abrasives and scourers should be avoided.
Periodic Maintenance:

Remove all debris and dust using a standard
vacuum cleaner with the brushes on the head
extended to remove dry and loose dirt. |

Carefully remove any compacted dirt or grime,
grease and sticky substances using a neutral
detergent, warm water and a brush. |

Wash the remaining floor with neutral detergent,
warm water and a mop. We can recommend ‘Simple
Green’ stone cleaner which is available
from most hardwear stores. |

For the removal of chewing gum to the
stone we can recommend ‘Dissolve it’
available from most hardwear stores. |
| 5 |
Remove detergent and water with a wet
vacuum. |
| 6 |
Rinse with clean warm water and re-vacuum. |
| 7 |
Keep off the floor until all water has
evaporated. |

fade resistant quality, in many years to come
with a single application of surface sealer it
can be restored to it’s original lustre.
