When the shower was installed it was not sealed underneath, consequently it leaked and stained the timber in front of the shower door to a nasty black colour. The only option given to us was uplift the shower, cut out and replace the stained timber, seal the entire floor with 2 more coats of urethane, including underneath the shower, and refit the shower. Instead, Spec-Tec sealed all along the front of the shower and laid a tile width of natura factiostone with a stainless steel capping. The result is absolutely brilliant.
